Beaujolais Wines

The Domaine du Père Benoit has been in wine production for 4 generations and is situated in the heart of Beaujolais. Roger Benoit has had a passion for wine growing since he was 14 years old. He sold his first bottles in 1964, and since 1991 it is Laurence, his daughter, helped by her husband Pascal who run the business.
The wine making process combines traditional and modern processes to produce high quality wines. Our 15 hectares of vines spread over different terroir and soil types allow the production of a range of different wines.
 


Beaujolais 2009

Vin Beaujolais


This is a very light and fruity red wine with fresh primary aromas of the Gamay grape. It should be consumed young in order to keep the all fruity and floral characteristics.
You can discovered this wine in all your meal and with cheese but the fresh primary aromas are very intense in the palate and this is a very good wine to drink at any hour of the day between 14° C and 18°C.

Ros� 2009

Beaujolais rosé


With a rosy colour this wine is full of fruity flavours like grapefruit. A wine to enjoy chilled with a barbecue or as an aperitif.

C�te de Brouilly

Côte de Brouilly 2007


The nose reveals red fruit aromas, a generous body and it is well balanced between the tannins and the acidity of the fruit. Côte de Brouilly has an intense crimson colour and fresh grape and iris aromas. You can drink it with a charcuterie plate or with cheese in the first 5 years.

This is a very fruity wine with redfruits aromas and a beautiful ruby red colour.
On the palate you will find all the aromatics flavours characteristic from the Gamay grape like fruit, generosity and softness.
You can keep this wine 5 years to taste it with a salad, red meat, cheese and cooked meats or serve it chilled with a barbecue or with oysters between 14 and 18°C.


Brouilly 2008

Brouilly 2007


This wine has a nice dark crimson colour with blackcurrant and delicate tannins.
You can drink it with a red meat, charcuterie or cheese in the first 5 years.


Brouilly 2006 aged in oak

Brouilly 2006 out of barrels of oak


This wine has been aged for 10 months in oak barrels hence giving great balance between the fruits and tannins. Generous and powerfull with cherry aromas and some vanilla flavours on the palate, this wine has roundness and smoothness.This wine is a perfect match with game and cheese.


Brouilly 2002 Cuvée Tanne

Brouilly 2002 cuvee Tanne


This wine is very special this is homage for our grandfather Antoine. He was a very good winemaker who was loving good cooking and good wines.
With a garnet colour this wine has fruit aromas with prune.
This Cru is made with grapes from old vines and the wine making process is on a Burgundian style. A long maceration and a good extraction gives to this wine Burgundy expressions from Pinot Noir You can aerate it before drinking to appreciate all the aromas bouquet.


Morgon 2008

Morgon Beaujolais


This wine is our most recent addition. The lands on wich this wine is produced are located on two climates: the Coast of Py and Micouds. With a crimson colour, Morgon is fleshy and releases the fruit-stone flavours. Cherry, peach and apricot aromas, powerful and well made. The coast of Py and Micouds are 2 climates of Morgon which represent best the appellation.


Perle d’Or (white sparkling wine)

Perle d'or


This sparkling wine has small bubbles with a delicate mousse and it is made in Champagne method. Light and fruity with citrus and autolytic flavours it is the ideal wine to celebrate something special.


Perle Rose (Rosé sparkling wine)

Perle rosé


This wine is composed of 50% flow-juice that gives a colour rosé supported. Light and fruity it is ideal for as an aperitifs.


Beaujolais Blanc 2009

Beaujolais blanc
From Chardonnay, Beaujolais Blanc is a delightful fruity wine as an aperitif or with some fish, seafood, salad and white meat.
This wine should be served cool at between 8° and 12°C and can be kept 2 or 3 years.
